The Air Force Museum is located in Şaşmaz Location.
The official opening of the museum, which was put into service on September 18, 1998, was made by Sabiha Gökçen, the adopted daughter of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and our country's first female pilot.
A rich collection such as all kinds of aircraft,weapons,ammunition and ground defense systems in the Turkish Air Force inventory register is classified and exhibited in the open exhibition area.
Visitors can enter the Air Force Museum and the pilothouse of one training plane and one fighter-bomber plane,which were used by the Air Force Command.
